Ghost ship write up

The ghost ship starts off seeming like its gonna be a really romantic film. This is shown by the writing looking fancy, The colour of pink it is also suggests its meant to be a romantic/love film. The only thing from the start that suggests otherwise is that the film title is the ghost ship, Ghost from the title suggests there is a element of horror in the film. At the start there is a trackshot of the boat with its fairy lights on and everyone dancing. The fairy lights strung across the top of the boat are another aspect that would make you think this film was romantic. The start and the end of the clip there is a shot of the sea so the order of the clips narrative circles around. There was then shortly after a bird eye view shot of the top of the boat and everyone dancing.

As the clip continues the video travels to whats happening on the inside of the boat. Everyone is dancing along to the singer while the servers take around drinks to everyone. The singer is wearing a bright red dress this suggests love and danger because the colour red makes us think of either love or danger being near by. This makes us question whether the person in the red dress is actually good or if they are slightly suspicious. What the singer is singing is a song that makes us naturally think of love. Most of the time throughout this clip we can hear what everyone in the clip can this is digetic sound. Everyone on the boat is dressed fancy this is another indication to its mean't to be romantic. People dressed in grey are very suspicious we think this because we see on of the people in the grey suit wink and give a signal to the singer, who later on then speaks and asks everyone to go to the top of the boat. This is so the people who are acting suspicious can kill as many people as they can at once.

After one of the people have pulled the lever there is 3 layers of sound, there is just the normal noise of people chatting etc. there is a wurring noise like the sound of the lever working before the wire chops through everyone and there is dramatic music over the top to add dramatic effect. There is a point of view shot from one of the peoples perspective of the wire going through them.

All throughout the clip things are cutting and splitting the screen up like the wire does when it goes through everyone.
